SUSO-NC is seeking an experienced, compassionate, and community centered Facilitator to lead healing-centered group sessions, circles, workshops, and other program offerings. Facilitators play a key role in ensuring participants feel supported, seen, and connected, while upholding trauma-informed practices and culturally relevant care. This role is responsible for delivering high-quality facilitation, engaging participants in meaningful dialogue, and contributing to positive emotional and relational outcomes. Facilitators help maintain safe and affirming environments that encourage vulnerability, reflection, empowerment, and personal growth.
Facilitators also support participant engagement before, during, and after sessions, assist with community visibility, and creatively help extend SUSO-NC’s mission across both in-person and digital spaces. This includes seeking opportunities for community connection, sharing resources, and supporting program presence. This role is ideal for individuals who are grounded in healing justice, survivor-centered approaches, and community wellness especially those who are skilled listeners, strong communicators, and passionate about facilitating spaces where healing, accountability, and transformation can occur. This role offers meaningful engagement with community and opportunities to grow in facilitation practice, program development, and community impact as SUSO-NC continues to expand its holistic programming.
